Delores Coleman

Dolores Marie “Dolly” Coleman (nee Kadis), 88, of Vermilion, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, December 28, 2024.

Born on October 29, 1936, in Cleveland, Dolly had been a resident of Vermilion for the past 44 years after moving from Lorain.

She worked as a pump assembler for Lear Romec in Elyria, later Crane Aerospace & Electronics, retiring after more than 20 years of dedicated service.

Dolly found joy in camping and traveling, but her greatest happiness came from spending cherished moments with her family.

She is survived by her son, Lee Charles (Cindy) Coleman of Vermilion; daughter, Laurie (Al) Urban of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter-in-law, Ruth Coleman of Vermilion; grandchildren, Heather (Denise), David (Jessica), Michael, Tony, and Rachel (Andrew); great-grandchildren, Deacon, Lennox, and Parker; and her brother, Phil (Averil) Kadis of Washington, D.C.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee F. Coleman, in 2004; her son, Randy Coleman, in 2020; and her parents, Charles and Agnes (nee Seldac) Kadis.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Interment will follow at Brownhelm Cemetery in Vermilion.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Condolences may be shared online at www.riddlefuneralhome.com.
