Vermilion High School Presents Disney’s The Little Mermaid Musical

VERMILION, Ohio — Flippers and fins will swirl on stage as Vermilion High School Performing Arts presents the musical, Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
Performances will take place in Vermilion High School’s auditorium on Friday, March 14 at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m.
In addition to the musical, The Little Mermaid & Friends Meet and Greet, featuring in-person interactions and photo opportunities with Ariel and characters from the production, will take place on Saturday, March 15 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Vermilion High School. This special event will also offer attendees activities, refreshments, and a gift bag for children.

Additionally, tickets for the musical production will be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended.

Led by Director Kimberly Judd, the cast and crew of Disney’s The Little Mermaid is comprised of over 100 students from Vermilion High School and Sailorway Middle School.
Along with a robust supporting cast and crew, Vermilion High School’s production will feature these students:
Isabella Urday as Ariel; Jareth Ball as Prince Eric; Alivia Berrios as Ursula; James (JT) Craigo as King Triton; Ava Bennett as Sebastian; Madelyn Drost as Flounder; Grace Frye-Ibarra as Scuttle; Isaiah Looks as Grimsby; Terrence Anders as Chef Louis; Kaylee Ellison, Reese Hickman, Rachel Hormell, Lia Leimbach, Jessica Neiger, and Sophia Tidd as Mersisters; and Morgan Van Why and Bella Judd as Flotsam and Jetsam.
Disney’s The Little Mermaid tells the story of Ariel, youngest mermaid daughter of King Triton, as she dreams of finding love with human Prince Eric and experiencing life on land. The show features recognizable songs, such as “Under the Sea,” “Part of Your World,” and “Kiss the Girl.”
Vermilion High School is located at 1250 Sanford St. in Vermilion.
