Anchors Aweigh Sailor Athletic Spotlight
From the Desk of Vermilion Local School District Athletic Director Andy Stillman.
Senior – Peyton Logsdon. She has been a powerhouse for us this week. She came out to play on Thursday against Edison and ended the game with 21 kills, 20 digs and 5 aces. She carried that into the game against Firelands with 18 kills, 12 digs and 1 ace
This past week senior captain; Wesley Penton helped the Sailors earn 3 wins to improve their record to 4-2-1 overall and 2-0-1 in SBC play. Wesley tallied 7 goals and 2 assists throughout the week to bring his season total up to 9 goals and 4 assists. Wesley is a very talented player and his hard work and dedication to the game allows him to have continued success.
