Vermilion Beach Market on August 2-3: Open from 3 PM to 8 PM on Friday and 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday at Sherod Park. Shop by the beach from over 100 vendors for vintage, shabby and chic decor including furniture, architectural salvage, as well as handcrafted home decor, jewelry, clothing, and art. Take a pause from shopping at our beachside wine bar and food booths. Free admission and free on-site parking.

Live at the Lighthouse Sunday Concerts: Each year Vermilion celebrates the summer with free outdoor concerts from 7 pm to 8:30 pm every Sunday July through August. The Vermilion Chamber of Commerce erce presents “Live at the Lighthouse” Summer Sunday Concert Series at the Lighthouse at Main Street Beach in downtown Vermilion, Ohio. Market in the Park: Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM at Victory Park. The market features a variety of local vendors offering fresh produce, handmade crafts, and unique goods. 3rd Thursday Music, Flowers & A Sunset: Starts at 5 PM on the third Thursday of the month. It features live music, local vendors, and various activities throughout the downtown area. Residents and visitors can enjoy the lively atmosphere, shop from local businesses, and savor food from nearby eateries. The event brings the community together, offering a unique evening experience with entertainment and socializing.

Friends of Ritter’s Annual Book Sale: August 14-17. A popular community event where a vast selection of books, DVDs, and other media are available for purchase at great prices. Held at the library, the sale typically runs over several days, offering something for everyone, from avid readers to casual browsers. The event supports the library’s programs and services, making it a cherished tradition for residents and visitors alike.

Annual New Teachers Luncheon: hosted by the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce to welcome new educators to the community. Held at German’s Villa on August 13th from 12 PM to 2 PM, the event provides an opportunity for new teachers to connect with local leaders, colleagues, and community members, fostering a supportive environment as they embark on their educational journey in Vermilion.

German’s Villa Classic Car/Bike Show: This annual event showcases a stunning array of classic cars and motorcycles, providing enthusiasts a chance to admire and discuss their favorite vehicles.
