Mary Elaine Clippinger (nee Mouser), 86, of Vermilion, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Mill Manor Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.

Born on July 25, 1938, in Independence, West Virginia, Mary made Vermilion her home for the past 40 years.

As a devoted member of the Vermilion Evangelical & Reformed Church, Mary found joy and purpose through her faith. In her spare time she enjoyed tending to her beloved garden and baking and cooking for others. Her friends and family sought comfort in her nurturing spirit, often looking to her for guidance. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her cherished loved ones.

She is survived by her son, Todd Clippinger (Melanie) of Wakeman; her granddaughter, Renee Clippinger; her brother, Robert Mouser (Eve) of Vermilion; and several cherished nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Verdon and Mary Madeline (nee Miller) Mouser; her son, Kevin Mouser; her sisters, Kitty Christopher and Donna Park; and her brother, Verdon Mouser.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, a private celebration of life will be held among family.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 38440 Chester Rd., Unit B, Avon, OH 44011.

Condolences may be shared online at www.riddlefuneralhome.com.
