Get ready to groove back to the 80s for Mulletmania 2025: Festival of the Fish in Vermilion, Ohio, happening June 13-15! This year’s festival is packed with activities for all ages, centered around the “Fishing in the 80s” theme.
Here’s your walkthrough of the exciting events:
Friday, June 13th: Festival Hours 12 PM – 11 PM
- Start Your Day Calm: Kick off the festival with Serenity Beach Yoga at Main Street Beach at 8:30 AM.
- Royalty & Tunes: The Royalty Pageant takes the Main Stage from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM, followed by the Dad Band from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM.
- Kids Fun: Enjoy activities for the younger crowd at the Gazebo from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
- 80s Vibes: Catch a Live Radio Broadcast from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Victory Park Gazebo, and later, “The Ultimate 80’s Tribute” band hits the Main Stage from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
- Fireworks Finale: The day culminates with a spectacular Fireworks display over Lake Erie at dusk (approx. 9:55 PM).
Saturday, June 14th: Festival Hours 12 PM – 11 PM
- Sandcastle Contest! Get creative at the Sandcastle Contest on Main Street Beach starting at 9:00 AM, with judging at 11:30 AM. While the theme is “Fishing in the 80’s, Mulletmania,” you can build any sandcastle you like! Registration is at the event.
- Fish Fest Parade: Don’t miss the lively parade through Downtown Vermilion at 12:00 PM.
- Music & Entertainment: Enjoy Fusion Live DJs/Games/Prizes from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, followed by Vinyl Recovery 80’s from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, and Disco Inferno’s 70’s & 80’s Groove Party from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM, all on the Main Stage.
- Crazy Craze: Head to the Gazebo for “Crazy Craze” activities at 3:00 PM, with awards at 4:30 PM.
- 🌟 Lighted Boat Parade! 🌟 Witness the stunning Lighted Boat Parade at dusk (approx. 9:55 PM) from QSL, McGarvey’s Landing, or Liberty Bridge.
Sunday, June 15th (Father’s Day Bash): Festival Hours 12 PM – 3 PM
- Paddle Fest Poker Run! Start your Father’s Day with the VPA Paddle Fest Poker Run at 8:30 AM.
- Breakfast & Parade: Enjoy a Royalty Breakfast at German’s Villa at 9:00 AM, followed by the Boat Parade through Downtown Vermilion at 9:00 AM.
- Midway & Awards: The Midway opens from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, with the Parade Awards Ceremony at 12:15 PM.
- Water Fights & More: Join the Tribe Fighter Water Fights at Ohio St. by Victory Park from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Enjoy music from Shawn Perry & Vice City from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
- Festival Closes: The Festival of the Fish concludes at 3:00 PM.
