This week, we recognize two outstanding Vermilion Sailors athletes for their incredible performances. From the desk of Vermilion Sailors Athletic Director Andy Stillman.
Kelsey Jordan – Senior
Kelsey, in her last match of her senior year, bowled her highest game of her career with a 201 game along with a 120 giving her best series of the season with a 321 series.
Faith Sergent – Junior
Faith went 2-0 this past Saturday at our Regional Duals against Celina and Fremont Ross earning two falls. On Sunday, she won the Lady Redskins tournament at Port Clinton: going 4-0 with two falls and two decisions. In the semi-finals she beat the 10th ranked girl in state at 170 lbs. 8-3! In the finals she beat the 11th ranked girl at 170 lbs. 2-1 in overtime. After a slow start to the season (3-4) she is 26-4 since then and keeps ascending in the rankings! She currently has a career record of 95-37!
