The Vermilion Sailors boys varsity wrestling team turned in a strong performance at the Clearfork Tournament, earning multiple individual placements and finishing fourth overall in a competitive 17-team field.
Clearfork Tournament Placers
- 106 lbs: Julien Lind — 5th place
- 138 lbs: Ashton Juszczyk — 3rd place
- 150 lbs: James Hinkel — 4th place
- 157 lbs: Aiden Kyser — 1st place
- Kyser also recorded his 100th career win during the tournament
- 165 lbs: Chase Jackson — 4th place
- 175 lbs: Mack Mooney — 2nd place
- 190 lbs: Austin Sergent — 2nd place
- 215 lbs: Isaac Kyser — 4th place
Team Finish: 4th place
The Sailors will be back in action at home next week when they host the Vermilion Holiday Duals on December 19 and 20 at the Vermilion High School gymnasium.
