Saturday, April 26, 2025

  • 10:35 PM – Liberty Ave – Welfare Check
    Caller hadn’t heard from her boyfriend or his mother in over 5 hours; male stated he was fine and didn’t want to speak with her.
  • 10:46 PM – Nantucket Pl – Disturbance
    Caller heard screaming and a thump from the apartment below; parties said it was only an argument.

Sunday, April 27, 2025

  • 5:58 AM – Helen Dr (Americut) – Theft
    Caller reported a stolen X650 box truck around 2:55 AM; information gathered for follow-up.
  • 2:11 PM – Niagara Rd – Theft
    Wallet stolen from vehicle in driveway sometime between 10 PM and 6 AM; reported at the station.
  • 5:39 PM – Telegraph Ln (Kingston of Vermilion) – 911 Call
    Elderly woman reported strange men entering the building; facility confirmed everything was fine.
  • 7:53 PM – Aldrich Rd – Neighbor Trouble
    Ongoing conflict; neighbor accused a juvenile of theft. Officer informed neighbor not to return to complainant’s residence.

  • 12:31 PM – Liberty Ave/Woodlands Dr – Child Endangering
    Report of a small child unrestrained in a black Chevy Equinox; investigation confirmed child was properly secured.
  • 12:40 PM – Nicholson Ave – Weapons Offense
    Herk’s employee reported hearing six gunshots; man was firing to scare geese from a pond and was advised not to discharge firearms in city limits.
  • 2:25 PM – Liberty Ave (Harbortown Marine) – Suspicious Person
    Caller reported a man acting suspicious near boats and dumpsters; officers could not locate the subject.
  • 4:26 PM – Parkland Blvd – 911 Call
    Hang-up call; dispatch called back three times with no response. Determined to be accidental.
  • 4:35 PM – Sailorway Dr (Field House) – 911 Call
    Juvenile hit in the head with a metal ball and semi-conscious; transported by squad.
  • 5:25 PM – Sailorway Dr (Field House) – 911 Call
    Emergency call for a 67-year-old possibly having a stroke; squad dispatched.

  • 2:38 AM – Overlook Rd – Criminal Damaging
    LCSO deputy reported someone attempted to break into his vehicle. Black SUV fled the area. Report taken and extra patrols assigned.
  • 8:15 AM – Edgewater Dr – Squad Run
    Subject suffered a fall; emergency responders assisted.
  • 8:17 AM – Sanford St – Citizen Assist
    Man tracked a lost/stolen item via GPS to a nearby residence; report filed.
  • 9:33 AM – Liberty Ave (Motel Plaza) – Citizen Assist
    Man asked to leave property; officers explained hotel rental laws.
  • 9:46 AM – Berkley Rd/Woodridge Rd – Traffic Stop
    Driver stopped for failing to use turn signals.
