Vermilion families looking for a fun, last-minute Easter activity are in luck. Local Girl Scout leader and Vermilion Township resident Kitty Schwanitz is organizing a community egg hunt today—and she’s got all the details covered below.

“For the parents scrambling to find a local Easter egg hunt! I am offering 1200 eggs to be hunted at 3pm at Sherod Park.

Anyone wanting to donate more eggs, candy, or $1 coins- please bring them at 2:20 no later than 2:40 so I can get everything set up in time!

Will take place in the field next to the playground.”

The event will take place in the field next to the playground at Sherod Park. For directions, click here to open in Google Maps.
