Vermilion Sailors Athletics Athletes of the Week
From the desk of Vermilion Local School District Athletic Director Andy Stillman.
Junior, Brady Parker, has had an excellent season for the Sailors scoring 12 goals and adding 1 assist throughout the course of the season. Brady has stepped up big for the Sailors and has played multiple positions based on where the team needs him most. Last week, Parker helped the Sailors secure a conference victory at Old Fort by scoring a huge goal to help push the Sailors to victory. Great job Brady and finish out the year strong!
We would like to nominate Daniel Grisel. Daniel has had a huge season being our number 2 runner all season. He finished 3rd at the Vermilion Invitational last weekend and came back strong this weekend with a 7th place finish at the New London Invitational. Daniel and the team are looking to do big things as we get started with the post-season this Saturday at SBC championships.
