PRESS RELEASE

VERMILION – Main Street Vermilion is celebrating 25 years of serving the Vermilion community, and everyone is invited to join the celebration all summer long at Market in the Park.
Every Saturday through August, visitors are encouraged to stop by the Main Street Vermilion table in Victory Park for a different free surprise as a way of saying “thank you” to the community that has supported the organization for the past 25 years.
This Saturday, July 18, families can enjoy a special day of free activities while supplies last, including a free lunch, Lantern Parade craft and face painting!
The activities will take place inside the Parks Building on Ohio Street during Market in the Park from NOON – 2 PM.
“Celebrating 25 years is really about celebrating our community,” said Kate Repola, Executive Director of Main Street Vermilion. “For a quarter century, we’ve worked alongside volunteers, businesses, sponsors and residents to add the extras that make downtown Vermilion such a special place. These weekly surprises are our way of thanking everyone for being part of our story.”
Market in the Park is held every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Victory Park and features local vendors, fresh produce, baked goods, artisan products, and a welcoming atmosphere in the heart of historic downtown Vermilion.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Main Street Vermilion table each week throughout the summer to discover the latest anniversary surprise and celebrate 25 years of community, collaboration, and hometown pride.
