VERMILION — In a social media announcement shared today, the Vermilion Police Department said a veteran officer is returning to its ranks.
Greg Stark has returned as a part-time officer, according to the department. Stark previously served as a part-time officer with the Vermilion Police Department from 1994 to 2018.
He later returned and has served as a department Marine Patrol operator.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ofc. Stark back to the VPD,” Detective Sgt. Scott Holmes said in a statement. “Ofc. Stark brings with him a wealth of knowledge as an officer and as a first responder and is a great asset to the VPD and our city.”
Stark will continue his Marine Patrol duties while also serving as a road patrol officer. He is also a member of the Vermilion Fire Department and a local business owner.
