VERMILION — After a Friday morning crash in Lorain claimed the lives of two young women connected to the Vermilion and EHOVE school communities, a local restaurant is asking the public to help one of the families affected.
Salvatore’s, a local Italian restaurant where Paige Williams worked, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to support her family after she was killed in the crash.
Williams was an EHOVE cosmetology student and a member of the Vermilion High School Class of 2026. In a message shared with the community, Salvatore’s said she was “a huge part of our team” and described her as a rising star both at the restaurant and in her cosmetology program.
According to the fundraiser, donations will go directly to Paige’s family to help cover funeral expenses and give them the time and space to grieve.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the time of a brief prayer service, at 7 p.m., on Tuesday at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South St., Vermilion. Memorial contributions may be made to Riddle Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses. Any additional funds raised will be placed into a college fund for Williams’ niece, Cecelia.
