This week, we recognize two outstanding Vermilion Sailors athletes for their incredible performances. From the desk of Vermilion Sailors Athletic Director Andy Stillman.
Junior – Noah Penton
- Even par 36 to start the season with a win over Firelands
- HOLE-IN-ONE on the 5th hole at Oberlin (shot 79 finished top 10)
- 72 at Bob ’O Links leading team to a total of 299
Junior – Izzy Smith
Izzy had a great start of the year for the Sailor Girls Golf Team by taking the number one spot on Varsity. She started the year with two personal bests a 55 at Twin Lakes, a 52 at Eagle Creek and a 115 for 18 holes at the Edison open.
