This week, we recognize two outstanding Vermilion Sailors athletes for their incredible performances. From the desk of Vermilion Sailors Athletic Director Andy Stillman.

Severin Kretchmar – Senior

Kretchmar had a historic week. He won his match against Willard which tied the school record for most wins in a career. On Monday, he beat SMCC to set a new school record of 71 wins.

Abby Gawry – Junior

She hit .750 last week against Elyria and Bellevue with 2 runs batted in.  Abby has been a starter on varsity for all 3 of her high school years.  She set the school record last season for most home runs in a season and most home runs for a career at VHS.

Congratulations to both Severin and Abby on their impressive performances this week and gooooooo Sailors!
