This week, we recognize two outstanding Vermilion Sailors athletes for their incredible performances. From the desk of Vermilion Sailors Athletic Director Andy Stillman.
Senior – Severin Kretchmar
Kretchmar completed his Vermilion career by setting a new season record of 29-3 and career record at 1st singles of 96-27 (98-27 overall).
Senior – Joseph Webb
Joseph at the District Meet this past weekend qualified for three events for the Regional Meet in Lexington this weekend. He started off the meet by Anchoring the 4 x 800 Relay Team which took 2nd place and followed that up with 4:42 and finishing in 4th and completed his Meet with running a 10:03 in the 3200 and finishing 6th overall. Joseph was named Vermilion’s Co-Distance Athlete of the year as well as the Team’s Co-MVP. Congratulations to Joseph as he runs at the Regionals this weekend.
