The Vermilion Fire Department is inviting local families to take part in a special Christmas Coloring Contest during the annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, December 13. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the fire station located at 1041 Douglas Street.
Coloring pages will be sent home with students at Vermilion Elementary School and Sailorway Middle School. Please feel free to print out the below image.
To participate, children simply need to color and decorate the official Vermilion Fire Department holiday page and bring their finished artwork to the Pancake Breakfast. One winner will be chosen from each age group: 1–5, 6–10, and 11 and older. Families are reminded to include the child’s name, age, and phone number on the back of the coloring page before turning it in.
The Fire Department says it hopes to reach as many families as possible and encourages the community to share the contest information. Staff members look forward to seeing the creativity of local children as they celebrate the season.
