The Vermilion Port Authority reviewed marina finances and operations July 9, reporting that combined revenue at Water Works Marina, McGarvey’s Landing and the South Street launch ramp was up about 8% from last year. Members also discussed electrical problems affecting larger boats, new docks purchased with grant support, vandalism and internet issues at McGarvey’s Landing, possible security cameras, additional no-wake signs along the river and short-term staffing concerns during a busy boating weekend.
