- Barnes Road will be fully closed September 29 through October 3 for culvert replacement.
- Trustees approved hiring seasonal snowplow drivers at $25 per hour and authorized an additional $5,000 for legal funds tied to the Board of Zoning Appeals.
- Recycling and cleanup days were scheduled for May 16 and September 19, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Public Comment
Resident John W asked about the township’s recent property tax increase and how far the fire department responds outside Vermilion Township. Fire Chief Triana explained that mutual aid agreements require the department to respond whenever called, with costs covered locally.
The meeting adjourned at 6:49 p.m.
