VERMILION TWP — Vermilion Township trustees approved the final development plan Friday for Chardonnay Circle West, a Knite Development LLC project intended to complete a previously lapsed planned unit development within the Vineyards of Vermilion.
Trustees Kenn Baughman and Keith Sexton approved the resolution during a 6:30 p.m. special meeting. Trustee Don Rowe was absent. Trustees granted the project preliminary approval in June 2025, and Erie County Environmental Services later granted preliminary conditional approval.
Baughman credited township administrator Kurt Johnson for helping complete the approval process.
“I’m very proud of all the extra work that our township administrator put in to get this across the finish line and done correctly,” Baughman said.
